What Everybody Ought To Know About Church

What is Church?

Is it ...

a building,

a club,

a cult?

Oh so much more

this thing called Church.

Everyone ought to know,

about Church:

You,

me,

them?

We=Church.

Church is coming together,

around a fire

talking,

helping one another.

Remembering so as not to forget.

Church is fellowship.

Real, raw, LIFE.

Families breaking bread, praying

this too is Church.

Church is when these friends

send me texts in the mornings

making sure I'm up for my coffee

date with Him.

When husband grabs my hand,

and we discuss our doubts.

Opening the Letter,

we search.

Debating over right and wrong,

focusing on the grey areas.

Is this Church? Has church become

Arguments of Theology?

What about One Another? THIS is Church.
